Sag Harbor native Ann E. Schellinger dies at 95

Ann E. Schellinger

Sag Harbor native Ann E. Schellinger died on September 14 at Southampton Hospital. She was 95.

Born May 30, 1915, in Sag Harbor to Elizabeth (née Baris) and Charles Ryder, she worked at Sag Harbor Industries and 
was a member of the Ladies 
Auxiliary of both American Legion Chelberg & Battle Post 388 and the Veterans of Foreign 
Wars Post 9082 in Sag Harbor.

She is survived by two sons, Donald Schellinger of Sag Harbor and William Schellinger and his wife Kathleen of Maine; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. 
She was predeceased by her 
husband, Arthur Schellinger, four brothers, Al, John, Billy 
and Anthony, and four sisters, Jean, Vera, Pauline, and 
Genevieve.

No services were held. Arrangements were under the 
direction of Yardley & Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor.
