The Town of Southampton will close the Sag Harbor transfer station on Friday, April 9, to replace the attendant booth there.
Located at 1310 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike, the facility is normally closed on Wednesdays and the Town is using that day to remove the old booth. The new one will be delivered Friday and the site will remain closed to the public while the replacement booth is installed.
Residents can still dispose of recyclables and other waste at the North Sea transfer station, located at 1370 Majors Path.
