Save Some Space

Considering the coronavirus situation, if the town’s ocean and bay beaches are open, with or without restrictions, more and more people will come out to our beautiful towns and beaches.

I suggest that the officials save at least 20 percent of all parking spaces at our beaches for Southampton Town residents. Our residents will need recreational time, and it is one small step to show that we care about our “locals.”

We already do this at Ponquogue Beach, and locals really appreciate having a spot open on weekends.

Please consider this, and thanks to our Town Board.
