Southampton Elementary School students in James O’Leary’s class recently decorated ornaments to inspire fellow students to give back this holiday season. Attached to the ornaments are holiday tags containing two Adopt-a-Families’ wish list items. Those who donate items from the Adopt-a-Family wish list are gifted one of the ornaments for their generosity. All of the ornaments and tags are displayed on a Christmas tree in the school’s main hallway.

Southampton Elementary School hosted its annual Thanksgiving gathering on November 19. The event focused on family and community, with students performing on instruments and reading writings they wrote about Thanksgiving.

Members of the Westhampton Beach Elementary School Student Council kicked off their annual holiday toy drive. The students created signs and
collection boxes with a goal to amass as many toys as possible during the month of December. All of the toys will be donated to the Toys for Tots program.

Members of the Westhampton Beach Elementary School Student Council recently held a successful food drive within their school community. All of the food donations, along with additional nonperishable donations from St. Mark’s Church, will be provided to Westhampton Beach Elementary School families in need during parent/teacher conferences. The "toy soldiers" are ready to welcome visitors to the Our Lady of the Hamptons School's annual Christmas show. The production of “On-Time Delivery”will be staged on Sunday, December 19 at 2 p.m. and Monday, December 20 at 7 p.m. The cast includes all students offering song and dance in a unique script, After doing the annual show as a movie-only format last year, a live audience will be admitted, masked on a limited basis; call the school, 631-283-9140, to secure seating.
