Southampton Intermediate School’s National Junior Honor Society recently replenished their school’s food pantry with nonperishable items following a “Hunger Games” fundraiser. Each grade level competed through the month of December to collect the most food, with the winning grade level earning a dodgeball-themed game against their teachers. Earning the top prize was the seventh grade.

Registration Open for Pre-K And Kindergarten at Southampton School District

Registration for pre-K and kindergarten at Southampton School district is open. Residents of the school district should call 631-591-4517 to schedule an appointment. Documentation will be required to prove age and residency. Children who will be 4 years old by December 1, 2025 are eligible for prekindergarten; those who are 5 years old by that date are eligible for kindergarten. Students already attending prekindergarten do not need to register for kindergarten. by Staff Writer
