The Westhampton Beach High School National Honor Society recently hosted a food drive competition between homerooms and collected more than 500 nonperishable food items that will be donated to Long Island Cares, a nonprofit that helps the hungry and food insecure on Long Island. The winning homeroom received a bagel breakfast for donating an impressive 132 items. Registration Open for Pre-K And Kindergarten at Southampton School District

Registration for pre-K and kindergarten at Southampton School district is open. Residents of the school district should call 631-591-4517 to schedule an appointment. Documentation will be required to prove age and residency. Children who will be 4 years old by December 1, 2025 are eligible for prekindergarten; those who are 5 years old by that date are eligible for kindergarten.
