Bridgehampton School is proud to announce that its National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society members have been awarded the “Best Little School” division title by the New York Blood Center for the second year in a row. The award is given to schools who have collected more than 50 pints of blood, which Bridgehampton achieved between two blood drives during the 2024-25 school year. Southampton Elementary School hosted its 50th annual second grade Thanksgiving gathering on November 20. The event focused on family and community, with students performing songs, sharing a Thanksgiving poem and enjoying some treats with their families. In addition, representatives from the Shinnecock Indian Nation spoke about their traditions related to giving thanks, performed a traditional dance and song with students, and gave a blessing.
