Sabrina Lattanzio, a second-grader in Erin McDermott’s class at Hampton Bays Elementary School is among the students who have been working on skills related to sequencing events and instructional writing pieces. As part of the unit of study, the students created their own turkey recipe and discussed the steps needed to create the perfect Thanksgiving bird. “Students really enjoyed creating their own silly yet delicious recipes,” said McDermott. Registration Open for Pre-K And Kindergarten at Southampton School District

Registration for pre-K and kindergarten at Southampton School district is open. Residents of the school district should call 631-591-4517 to schedule an appointment. Documentation will be required to prove age and residency. Children who will be 4 years old by December 1, 2025 are eligible for prekindergarten; those who are 5 years old by that date are eligible for kindergarten.
