Sabrina Lattanzio, a second-grader in Erin McDermott’s class at Hampton Bays Elementary School is among the students who have been working on skills related to sequencing events and instructional writing pieces. As part of the unit of study, the students created their own turkey recipe and discussed the steps needed to create the perfect Thanksgiving bird. “Students really enjoyed creating their own silly yet delicious recipes,” said McDermott.
