The Hampton Bays High School varsity soccer team raised $1,200 through the annual Kicks for Cancer Pink Soccer game, held October 6. The athletes raised the funds through a raffle. All of the funds raised will be donated to the DezyStrong Foundation, which provides  access to support that affects a positive mental-well being for those fighting cancer.

To do their part and give back to the community, the Southampton High School girls varsity soccer team raised $800 as part of their annual Kicks for Cancer soccer game on October 12. The fine arts program at Our Lady of the Hamptons School has expanded to include a string orchestra, directed by Song A. Shaughnessy. The 20 students are learning to play in a larger group, in addition to their bi-weekly lessons.
