Suffolk County Legislator Bridget Fleming visited Raynor Country Day School last Friday, during which she presented student Rebecca Bartha with a certificate for her first-place and/or honorable mention in science contests at the Brookhaven National Lab over the last six  years.  Rebecca's projects continue to target a scientific approach to local environmental problems.

Registration Open for Pre-K And Kindergarten at Southampton School District

Registration for pre-K and kindergarten at Southampton School district is open. Residents of the school district should call 631-591-4517 to schedule an appointment. Documentation will be required to prove age and residency. Children who will be 4 years old by December 1, 2025 are eligible for prekindergarten; those who are 5 years old by that date are eligible for kindergarten. Students already attending prekindergarten do not need to register for kindergarten. by Staff Writer
