Ten Westhampton Beach High School students have been selected as performers in the New York State Council of Administrators of Music Education 2024 All-County Music Festival. Alexandra Behmoiram, Mia Pazera and Emmy Shea, all sopranos, will perform with the treble chorus. Margaret Gilbride and Ryan Zollweg, altos, along with Aidan Judd, bass, and Brady Schultz, tenor, will appear in the mixed chorus. Students and staff at Raynor Country Day School gathered together at the flagpole to commemorate Patriot Day on September 11. The school honored the events of the day with song and spirit with the sixth-grade class leading guests in the Pledge of Allegiance, while music teacher Suzanne Lewis led the gathering in a series of patriotic songs.
