Schools, Southampton Town Announce Two-Hour Delays Monday

Several East End school districts have announced two-hours delays Monday due to impending weather, and some are considering closing altogether. Southampton Town offices and facilities will have a two-hour delay.

Southampton, Sag Harbor, Bridgehampton, Hampton Bays, East Hampton, Eastport South Manor, Montauk and Tuckahoe public schools will have two-hour delayed openings on Monday.

Morning pre-K and the before-school program in Sag Harbor are canceled.

Remsenburg-Speonk School District will start the day at 11 a.m. Our Lady of the Hamptons will start at 10 a.m. The school day will begin at 10:05 a.m. at Tuckahoe. Hampton Bays will decide by 7 a.m. if a full-day closure is necessary. Sagaponack will start at 10 a.m.

Southampton Police Reports for the Week of December 11

WESTHAMPTON BEACH — Dario Vasquez, 26, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Westhampton Beach Village Police on December 9 and charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol, a misdemeanor.
