Sebastian P. Palazzo of Southampton died on May 16 at Southampton Hospital. He was 89.

Born January 1, 1921, to Antoinette and Filippo Palazzo, he was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II.

He is survived by a son, Philip Palazzo of Port Jefferson Station; a brother, Joseph Palazzo of Connecticut; a granddaughter, Ashley; a grandson, Philip James; and a great-granddaughter, Corinne. He was predeceased by his wife Gussie Palazzo and two sisters, Dolly Guicci and Frances Farenga.

Visitation was on May 18 at the O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton. A funeral mass was held on May 19 at St. Rosalie’s Church in Hampton Bays. Interment followed at Calverton National Cemetery.
