The second annual Hamptons Pickleball Classic will be held this Saturday and Sunday, August 26-27, at the newly painted pickleball courts at Hampton Bays High School.
Hosted by Around the Post Pickleball, over 150 players — nearly double the number who competed last year — are coming in from the Tri-State region in various categories and enjoying a weekend in the Hamptons.
Play begins Saturday morning at 9 a.m., and continues through 7 p.m. Sunday’s schedule begins at 11 a.m. and runs until 6 p.m.
The organizers thanked the Hampton Bays School District for embracing not only the tournament but the sport of pickleball. The event is open to the public to enjoy and see some of the best players from Long Island and neighboring states.
