A schematic showing how the proposed settlement of the lawsuits over the Picnic Area would limit vehicles on the beach. Only 136 vehicles would be allowed on the beach at any one time during the day in summer, and they would be divided into six blocks of between 10 and 48 vehicles, parked end to end in two rows, with no-vehicle buffer zones between them to allow homeowners to access the beach in front of their houses with having to sit between vehicles.

The settlement agreement for the Picnic Area use by 4x4 vehicles creates six parking blocks with between 10 and 48 vehicles each and no-vehicle buffer areas around the beach access from the homes beyond the dunes.
