The Shinneock Nation sued Southampton Town in federal court over the town trying to block the tribe from using its land in Hampton Bays for staff parking for this weekend's Palm Tree Music Festival. But the case could have much broader implications, including on the gas station the Shinnecock have begun constructing on the land and for its long-term plans for a hotel and convention center.
