Wildlife Rescue Center To Hold Plant Sale Fundraiser

The nonprofit Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center, located in Munn’s Pond County Park in Hampton Bays, will hold its annual Mother’s Day plant sale fundraiser from Friday through Saturday, May 10 to 12. Choral Society Announces Auditions

The Choral Society of the Hamptons will hold auditions in May for all singing parts — soprano, alto, tenor, bass — for singers interested in joining the group prior to the Choral Society’s next concert on Saturday, June 29, at the Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church. The Choral Society rehearses at the same church, and the auditions will take place there as well. Rehearsals begin the following Monday, May 13. Singers accepted into the chorus are welcome to attend this first rehearsal before committing to the chorus. The next Knowledge Friday, on May 3, at The Church in Sag Harbor will be presented by the Shinnecock Kelp Farmers. The talk begins at 6 p.m. The Shinnecock Kelp Farmers are working to save and preserve the shores through the application of traditional Shinnecock teachings and climate science.
