All classes at Southampton Montessori School performed “Big World, Small World” for parents, families and friends on Friday, May 9, in honor of Mother’s Day. Mothers received handmade clay-fired picture frames as a gift. The kindergarten class will sponsor a bake sale on Friday, May 16, to benefit Lunch Box Kids through Human Resources of the Hamptons. The goal is to collect $75 per child for 25 children’s daily lunches for 10 summer weeks. All students visited the Parrish Art Museum as part of the school’s monthly studio art program to view the origami exhibit. Students enjoyed a tour and workshop as they explored the beautiful art of paper folding.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH — Dario Vasquez, 26, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Westhampton Beach Village Police on December 9 and charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol, a misdemeanor.
