UPDATE: Wednesday, 10:15 a.m.

The Southampton Village Fire Department was dispatched to the scene of a truck fire at the corner of Windmill Lane and White Street at 4:48 p.m. Tuesday night, according to a statement from 2nd Assistant Chief Chris Brenner.

No injuries were reported, and the Village Fire Marshal office was called in to investigate, Mr. Brenner said.

Southampton Village fire and police officials were on the scene of a car fire at the intersection of Windmill Lane and White Street at approximately 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

Fire officials had extinguished the blaze, which destroyed a parked car.
