The nonprofit Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center, located in Munn’s Pond County Park in Hampton Bays, will hold its annual Mother’s Day plant sale fundraiser from Friday through Saturday, May 10 to 12. The hours of the sale will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday. The sale will feature native plants curated by The Barefoot Gardener, Suzanne Ruggles, as well as vegetable flats, annuals and hanging baskets. The Choral Society of the Hamptons will hold auditions in May for all singing parts — soprano, alto, tenor, bass — for singers interested in joining the group prior to the Choral Society’s next concert on Saturday, June 29, at the Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church. The Choral Society rehearses at the same church, and the auditions will take place there as well. Rehearsals begin the following Monday, May 13. Singers accepted into the chorus are welcome to attend this first rehearsal before committing to the chorus. The Guild Hall Teen Arts Council and Sag Harbor-based architect Nilay Oza will share their collaboration, “The Sag Harbor Backyard Bathtub Project,” at Kidd Squid on Friday, May 10, at 7:30 p.m. “The Sag Harbor Backyard Bathtub Project” is an ongoing initiative to publicize and deal with issues of local climate resilience through the eyes of young people.
