Southampton Town Board delays reorganization meeting

The Southampton Town Board rescheduled its reorganization meeting, originally set to take place on Tuesday, January 5, to Friday, January 8, at 10 a.m. in Town Hall on Hampton Road in Southampton Village.

According to a press release issued by Supervisor Anna Throne-Holst, Friday is the first day that all of the Town Board members will be available to meet.

During the meeting, the Town Board will set its meeting dates for the year, select the newspapers of record and approve any new staff members it is hiring, among other perfunctory resolutions.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH — Dario Vasquez, 26, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Westhampton Beach Village Police on December 9 and charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol, a misdemeanor.
