East Hampton senior Becca Kuperschmid was presented with a $1,000 scholarship from Bethpage Federal Credit Union as part of being named a News 12 Scholar Athlete on April 30. She was presented the check by Chris Croken of Bethpage Federal Credit Union, and was joined by her parents, David Kuperschmid and Jackie Lowey, her brother, Jon Kuperschmid, and school officials. Kuperschmid is a top tennis and softball player at East Hampton.
