Dr. Gerard Patrick McLoughlin of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and formerly of Southampton, died on September 26 in Florida. He was 86. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 8, at 9:30 a.m. at the Basilica Parish of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary in Southampton. Interment to follow at Southampton Cemetery. WESTHAMPTON BEACH — On September 24, at 2:02 p.m., Westhampton Beach Police arrested Justin Schwartz, 50, of Montauk and charged him with DWI. Schwartz was observed by police failing to signal when turning left onto Potunk Lane and a traffic stop revealed he was intoxicated.
