Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele Jr. with students from the Southampton String Orchestra who performed on  March 16 at the Empire State Plaza in Albany in celebration of "Music in Our Schools Month" sponsored by the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA). The Southampton String Orchestra is comprised of Southampton Intermediate and High School students in grade eight through 12, and is directed by Mrs. Nancy Caine.

Our soil type can sustain their thirsty character while letting that long, singular, sweet tap root seek itself deep and straight into the dirt.
