Stanley A. Edry of Eastport, formerly of Hampton Bays, died on Thursday, May 15. He was 85.

Born on May 8, 1923, Mr. Edry served in the U.S. Marines during World War II, and was a member of the Southampton Council of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife, Janice;
two daughters, Ruth Edry Salek and
Dr. Christine Edry Seidman; a son, Michael Edry; a sister, Adele Ritchie; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A wake was held on May 18 at the Follett and Werner Funeral Home in Westhampton Beach, where members of the Knights of Columbus conducted a service.

A funeral mass was held on May 19 at St. Rosalie’s Roman Catholic Church in Hampton Bays; interment followed at Calverton National Cemetery.
