New York State Police are asking for help locating a vulnerable resident of the Shinnecock Indian Reservation who they say has been missing since Monday and possibly in need of medical attention. According to a press release issued Tuesday afternoon, Jerry Plumber, 55, who may suffer from schizophrenia and has not been seen since 4 p.m. Monday. Mr. Plumber, who is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds with brown eyes and is bald, was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black leather jacket near West Church Street on the reservation. A picture of Mr. Plumber was not immediately available. Police are asking anyone with information to call New York State Police at 208-9002.
