Broccoli likes it cool; so do all the traditional fall crops. In too much heat, these hearty varieties â€śboltâ€ť â€” go to flower â€” or, worse, they rot. Every inhabitant of the Springs (dead end) will be negatively impacted by the 50-home subdivision at 289/290 Three Mile Harbor Road, and they do not know it yet. Over 7,000 people live in Springs, East Hampton â€” all will be negatively impacted. Brenda V. Walker of Bridgehampton died on October 15. She was 62.
