Stay In Sag Harbor

I am writing to register my displeasure with the decision by the Town of Southampton Planning Board to proceed to site plan review on a proposal by the Sag Harbor Antique Fire Truck Museum Inc. to convert an existing farm stand in Bridgehampton into a museum for their antique fire trucks. The farm stand is on property zoned “agricultural and residential only.”

Why would Sag Harbor residents want to drive three miles out of their village, when they could more easily visit that “museum” if it were to be built on land the Antique Fire Truck Museum organization already owns on Hildreth Street in Sag Harbor, a short walk from parking in Mashashimuet Park?
