Stephen Dalder
Stephen Dalder of Westhampton Beach died on November 1 at St. Catherine of Siena Hospital in Smithtown. He was 54.
Mr. Dalder was born on August 14, 1956, in Oceanside. He was a graduate of Westhampton Beach High School and was the owner of the Sea Tow franchise of Shinnecock Bay and the Moriches.
He received a commendation from the U.S. Coast Guard for rescuing people out of the water after the TWA Flight 800 disaster.
He is survived by a daughter, Kelle Dalder of East Moriches; his mother, Ruth Dalder of Westhampton Beach; two brothers, Robert Dalder of Westhampton Beach and Jeffrey Dalder of Quiogue; and two sisters, Debra Ann Dalder of Long Beach and Kathryn Cooper of Aquebogue.
The family received visitors on November 3 at Follett & Werner Funeral Home in Westhampton Beach. Funeral services were held on November 4 at Westhampton Cemetery.
