Stephen DiGiacomo Dies January 21

Stephen DiGiacomo of Pound Ridge died January 21, 2019, of glioblastoma. He was 57.

Born in 1962 to Kathleen (Standing) and Philip DiGiacomo, he was raised in New Rochelle, one of five children. He married Adriana (Palacio) DiGiacomo in March 1991 and together they raised two children, Daniel and Nicole, in Chappaqua.

Survivors said he was a devoted husband, father and friend. His adventurous spirit drew him to the outdoors where he could often be found dirt biking, surfing and sailing with family and friends.

He was the proud third-generation owner of S. DiGiacomo and Son - General Contractors.

He was predeceased by his father, Philip. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen; and his siblings, Virginia, John, Damian and Elaine.

A funeral service was held on February 2 at the Church of the Immaculate Conception on Quiogue. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Werner-Rothwell Funeral Home in Westhampton Beach.

Memorial donations may be made to East End Hospice Kanas Center for Hospice Care.
