A big shout-out to Binh and Lauren for their superb management of the Coopers concession this summer. We knew it would be good, as they were there two years ago with excellent food, great service and reasonable prices. This year, they added Summer Sessions on Sunday evenings, with barbecued ribs and chicken, along with the regular concession menu. Music from local musicians was also added and enjoyed by everyone. Each Sunday, the crowds grew larger, proving that they were on to something very special.
Speaking of special: Our lifeguards are A1, willing to help and share their knowledge of the ocean and safety with all. The kids loved it when they would take them out past the break on rougher days and teach them. They can spot trouble before it becomes an emergency. Many visitors are not familiar with the ocean conditions here, and it is very important to swim at a protected beach.
Our beach manager, Matt, did a great job ensuring everything ran smoothly with parking and on the beach. The booth attendants kept everyone moving, minimizing backup into the street. Our beach attendants kept the beach clean and provided chairs and umbrellas to everyone who wanted them.
Everyone was polite and courteous, showing Coopers Beach is the best.
