The Water Mill Museum will reopen for the season on Thursday, May 22, and has announced its calendar of events for the coming months. The museum is located at 41 Old Mill Road and is open Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. The museum is closed Monday to Wednesday. Stony Brook Southampton Hospital Earns 'A' In Hospital Safety

Stony Brook Southampton Hospital has earned an ‘A’ Hospital Safety Grade for spring 2025 from The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit watchdog focused on patient safety. Hampton Library To Host Family Festival

The Hampton Library will hold a Family Fest FUNdraiser on Saturday, May 17, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Channing Daughters Winery in Brigehampton. The afternoon of family-friendly activities will include outdoor fun and games, a family olympics run by the children’s librarians, and activities led by the Children’s Museum of the East End and Shine Studios. The Animal Rescue Fund invites all to its Pet Celebration Day on Saturday, May 17, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the adoption center, 124 Daniels Hole Road, Wainscott. Pets are also invited.
