As a wounded, disabled and decorated veteran who is an affordable housing advocate and mentor to younger veterans, I support the 79-unit workforce project in Quiogue [“Divided Southampton Town Board Approves Funding for Affordable Housing on Quiogue,” 27east.com, August 27].
It is being built between fewer than one dozen $4 million homes and a complex of manufactured homes or mobile homes. This, in itself, adds to the “analysis paralysis” noise. This project helps create homes for our children so they can live and work in the community.
Congratulations to Kara Bak and her staff in the Southampton Town government for being aggressive.
