Susan Colledge Of Southampton Dies February 18

Susan Schwenk Colledge of Southampton died on February 18, 2017, in Lucia’s Room at Southampton Hospital, of cancer. She was 74.

A self-described avid gardener, boater, baker, kayaker and rug hooker, she was instrumental in forging new trails for the Southampton Trails Preservation Society. She was also a dedicated volunteer for the Coalition for Women’s Cancers, the Garden of Hope and Lucia’s Angels.

Ms. Colledge was predeceased by her husband, Billy, in 2004; and her parents, Robert and Mary (Fairweather) Schwenk. She is survived by a son, Jason of Southampton; a daughter, Jennifer of Middle Island; a brother, Robert of East Moriches, her uncle and aunt, Ralph and Peggy Schwenk of Bridgehampton; and a niece, nephews and numerous cousins.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, March 18, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Parrish Memorial Hall, Herrick Road, in Southampton.

Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of December 12

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor.
