Susan W. Duke of Sag Harbor died on June 26 at the Kanas Center for Hospice Care on Quiogue, surrounded by her family and friends. She was 61.
Born December 28, 1954, in Inglewood, California, she was the daughter of Max Watts of Texas and Mary Watts of Lawrence, both of whom survive. She worked as an executive secretary for Southampton Public Schools.
Ms. Duke is survived by her husband, Woody Duke Jr.; a daughter, Mary Cora Smith and husband Steven of Southampton; siblings, Sharon Garant and Kenny Watts, both of Texas; three grandchildren, Nichelle, Steven and Sean; and 13 nieces and nephews.
A funeral service took place on June 28 at St. Andrew’s Church in Sag Harbor. Arrangements were under the direction of the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home, also in Sag Harbor. Memorial donations may be made to Kanas Center for Hospice Care, 481 Riverhead Road, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978.
