What a beautiful editorial you wrote about Tom House and his herculean efforts to build an organization on the East End that supports and protects our LGBTQ community [“Pride and Joy,” June 6].
Suicide rates for teens who identify as LGBTQ are significantly higher than the general population. These events are critically important — they demonstrate acceptance and celebration of each individual. Shame is so 1962.
