Juneteenth Jubiliee Coming To LTV

LTV’s World Voices and Eastville Community Historical Society will present the second annual Juneteenth Jubilee White Party Awards and Ceremony at LTV Studio’s on Thursday, June 19 at 6 p.m. Attendees are asked to wear white to the event, which will feature music, dance, local vendors, food, awards and more. Tickets On Sale For 'Calm Before The Storm'

Tickets are now on sale for the Sag Harbor Whaling Museum’s “Calm Before the Storm” benefit cocktail party on Saturday, June 21, from 5 to 7 p.m. At the same time, the collaborative Sag Harbor Ark Project with The Church will be on the museum’s front lawn. Poppies for Sale to Commemorate Fallen Soldiers

Members of the Sag Harbor American Legion Auxiliary will be selling handmade poppies along the Memorial Day parade route. Each year the American Legion Auxiliary offers the memorial poppies made by disabled veterans. Disabled and hospitalized veterans make the official American Legion poppy throughout the year in hospitals and special convalescent workshops maintained by Auxiliary volunteers. Working with their hands provides physical and psychological therapy as well as a small income for those veterans. The Children’s Museum of the East End will host its eighth annual Block Party on Saturday, May 31, from 10 a.m. to noon. LTV Awarded Grant To Fix Roof

Local TV Inc., known colloquially as LTV, was awarded a grant totaling $99,000 from the New York State Council on the Arts to support a capital project, which focuses on a much-needed roof repair.
