During these trying times, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5350 in Westhampton Beach would like to thank all of you generous sponsors who donated funds and/or auction gifts, purchased our lottery tickets, or were one of the record number (98) of golfers who supported our recent annual golf outing fundraising tournament at the Vineyards course in Riverhead.
And we also would like to thank all of you who purchased “poppies” in support of needy veterans, both locally and nationally.
You supporters just enabled our VFW Post to approve a rather large donation to the outstanding Siller Foundation, which provides mortgage-free homes to Gold Star surviving needy young families who have just lost an active duty military provider.
