The Question for Americans, September 2024:
A puppet president found to have illegally and intentionally shared highly classified documents but deemed to be too feeble-minded to actually prosecute, doesn’t know what decade it is and spends half his time passed out on the beach.
An anti-democracy, zero vote coup to install a new candidate, “strong woman” who can’t even make it through a fake and contrived interview without a man beside her to cover for her from exposing that she is a total imbecile. (Can someone remind “on day one!” Kamala that she is already in the White House?)
The question every American should be asking: Who is actually running America right now, since it is clearly not anyone elected via democracy. Ask the mainstream media only if you want to be fed more propaganda.
BTW, Project 2025 conspiracy theory wackos: look up Cloward-Piven to see what project has already been implemented across the Western world.

It takes a village to sustain a small independent bookshop for over 40 years, and it takes a village to help that same bookshop pack up its hand-selected collection, odd furniture, treasured artwork and memorabilia. Our tremendous thanks to the...
I would like to follow up Anna Brinsmade’s excellent letter, where she documents the amount of noise she is subjected to [“When Will It End?” Letters, September 26]. Today, my neighbor’s landscaper, who hypocritically claims on his trucks to have...
Last week, I spent several days in Manhattan, enjoying seeing the sights, all the people, and the many, many adorable dogs. What I did not see, despite the number of people and pets, and which I see here all the...
I am a former member of Congress from the 1st District of New York who had the privilege of serving three terms and was on the House of Representatives Appropriations Committee. Many know me as a local graduate of Westhampton...
