Theresa Ann Young
Theresa Ann Young of Remsenburg and Westhampton died unexpectedly on January 2, while on vacation in Costa Rica. She was 57.
Born in Riverhead, on July 5, 1964, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Young, and her father, Frank J. Dickseski.
She resided in Remsenburg and Westhampton her entire life. She was a graduate of Westhampton Beach High School’s class of 1980 and attended Suffolk County Community College.
Young loved the beach and enjoyed spending days crabbing and fishing with her son, Jack. Music and art were her lifelong passions. She was an avid horticulturist and enjoyed growing flowers and vegetables.
Her family meant everything to her and she is survived by her son Jack M. Young; her mother, Irene Dickseski; brother Frank J. Dickseski Jr. and his wife Jerri and their daughter Julia; and aunts Helen Pasqualini, Shirley Braun and Florence Jansen; as well as many cousins and lifelong friends.
A celebration of life will be planned for the spring/summer of 2022.
