Thomas A. Manglaviti Sr. Dies At 52

Thomas A. Manglaviti Sr.

Thomas Anthony Manglaviti Sr. of Southampton died at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 25, after a long battle with stomach cancer. He was 52.

Born July 26, 1959, to Peter and Dorothy Manglaviti, he was and will always be remembered as a loving dedicated father and husband, family said. Mr. Manglaviti was a culinary connoisseur with a passion to experience life and enjoy the outdoors.

He is survived by his 
wife, Giovanna; his children, 
Sabrina, Thomas, Alessandro and Nicholas.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 27, at the O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton. A funeral Mass took place on Wednesday, December 28, at Sacred Hearts of Jesus & Mary Roman Catholic Church also in Southampton. Interment followed at the Sacred Hearts Cemetery.

Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of December 12

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. He was pulled over after being observed speeding and failing to maintain his lane on Montauk Highway, police said.
