I was disturbed to read in this week’s Southampton Press that there were youthful shenanigans occurring in the town-owned abandoned house on Bay Avenue in East Quogue [“Neighbors Rebuke Bay Avenue Blight,” 27east.com, July 4]. If someone doesn’t do something soon, it could escalate to horseplay or, even worse, tomfoolery.
The town has to step in right away and tell those rapscallions to “knock it off!”
