David Falkowski, the Bridgehampton farmer who was one of the earliest and most vocal proponents of the expansion of the cannabis industry on Long Island, said that he fears the turmoil surrounding Southampton Town's site plan review and attempts by some to circumvent the town's rules will hamstring the industry for years to come because it will dissuade other municipalities from allowing cannabis sales.
