The Westhampton Ambulance Volunteer Water Rescue Squad will host its second annual “Ice Plunge” fundraiser at Rogers Beach in Westhampton Beach on Saturday, December 20, at 12:30 p.m., with check-in starting at noon. Founded in 2022, the squad is a team of certified ocean lifeguards who volunteer their time and are on-call to respond to water emergencies in the area on a year-round basis.
