“Hiring Challenges: Staffing Up South Fork Businesses Is Harder Than Ever” is the topic of the first Express Sessions event of the fall, planned for 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 14, via the Zoom online platform.
The Express News Group’s executive editor, Joseph Shaw, will moderate a conversation about the difficulties South Fork business owners have had filling vacant positions, especially during the post-pandemic recovery. Panelists will include Robert Chaloner, chief administrative officer of Stony Brook Southampton Hospital; East Hampton School Superintendent Adam Fine; John Tortorella of J. Tortorella Swimming Pools; and restaurateur Mark Smith, owner of Rowdy Hall in East Hampton.
All Express Sessions events are free to subscribers of Express News Group products (27east.com, The Southampton Press, The Sag Harbor Express) and $10 for others. The registration link is: expresssessions1014.eventbrite.com.
Subscribers will need a password to access the free tickets and should email sessions@expressnewsgroup.com with their full name and address for that information.
