Has anyone who is in favor of the public pool in Tuckahoe ever driven on or near South Magee Street in Southampton from about 3 to 5:30 p.m., six days a week? It takes over an hour to get to County Road 39 because of the traffic and the light. No different if you try to take Hill Street going west.
It is inconceivable that this is not a major concern. Build the pool somewhere else where access is readily available and easily accessible.
