Get a Letter From Santa!

Southampton Town is once again bringing holiday cheer with its annual Letters to Santa program. Children are invited to share their Christmas wishes by sending a letter along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope, including details like their name, wish list, siblings, pets, hobbies and anything special they’d like Santa to know. Vendors Sought for Riverhead Holiday Fair

Vendors are being sought for the Wooden Wonderland: Holiday Artisanal Gift Fair to be hosted by the Suffolk County Historical Society Museum on Saturday, December 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free. Vendors will offer locally made, artisanal one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted gifts. Plus there will be live music, woodworking demonstrations, raffles and more. Only vendors selling handcrafted items will be considered. The cost is $25 per table plus a 10 percent donation of sales to the museum, located at 300 West Main Street in Riverhead. Kiwanis Offering Thanksgiving Apple Pies

The Southampton Town Kiwanis Club is offering fresh baked apple pies to be picked up in time for Thanksgiving. Two choices are available for preorder, double-crust pie or apple crumb pie, both priced at $25. Proceeds from this year’s fundraiser will benefit the Southampton Town Kiwanis Soup Project, supporting the Heart of the Hamptons, a local organization dedicated to helping neighbors in need. Hospital To Host Talk With Parkinson's Doctor

Stony Brook Southampton Hospital’s Center for Parkinson’s Disease and Stony Brook University’s School of Health Professions will host an evening with Dr. Ray Dorsey, author of “The Parkinson’s Plan,” on Wednesday, December 3. Youth Bureau Has Programs Coming Up

The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau has two exciting programs planned for local children this month. Dance With Project LEAP In partnership with the Peconic Ballet Foundation, Dance with Project LEAP (Learn, Empower, Achieve, Perform) is a fun ballet program for youth ages 7 to 9. Classes begin Thursday, November 6, and will meet on most Thursdays through May 30. Professional instructors will guide participants through ballet fundamentals while fostering fitness, self-confidence, creativity, and teamwork. No prior dance experience is required.
