Congratulations to all of you who voted for Donald Trump, as he has achieved yet another major milestone: He has succeeded in alienating all of our European allies, our neighbors to the north and south, Canada and Mexico, and the ally who needs us most, Ukraine. In fact, none of them likes us or trusts us anymore.

Trump is remaking America in his own image. Anyone who did business with the civilian Donald Trump would say he was universally unliked and untrustworthy. He’s just following the same playbook and it has worked very well for him.

But let’s remember the outcome of these Trumpy business practices: His companies would go out of business, a lot of people would be hurt financially and practically, and he would move on to his next victims, usually benefiting from the debacle he created.

As a psychologist, I know that history frequently predicts outcome — so what is the outcome for America? His unscrupulous and erratic behavior will lead to the deterioration of this country and harm our global and domestic security. A lot of people will get very hurt, and when he leaves — or will be forced to move on — he will have profited immensely from anything from bitcoin to Russian real estate.

And if we all pay attention, we realize that this process has already begun.
