Ken Dorph is not a expert on the Middle East. Ken Dorph is a mouthpiece for Palestinian distortion. His Viewpoint [“The Palestinians Aren’t Going Anywhere,” Opinion, 27east.com, October 23] was historically inaccurate and a distortion of the reality. His analysis was a twisted tale of lies that he backed with little substance.
First, let’s start with: Benjamin Netanyahu backed Hamas? Never. Second, Israel occupied or was in Gaza until 2005, and then all Israelis left Gaza to the Palestinians, who elected Hamas. Since 2005, they have just become more radicalized and have taught their children to hate Israel, with no interest to help or educate or to allow for any other narrative than the total destruction of Israel. Ken never mentions that Hamas leaders actually live in Qatar, not Palestine.
Ken then disgustedly states, “Hamas had several objectives in its murderous attack.” Seriously, objectives? They had no objectives other than to slaughter civilians, families and children, just a mass frenzy of killing Jews for the sake of killing.
Israelis are not taught to kill Palestinians and have not wantonly killed Palestinians for the sake of killing.
There will never be a two-state solution. Israel will destroy Hamas and level Gaza. Hamas can certainly surrender its leaders and spare its civilians, but we know that’s not going to happen.
Ken, you are clueless to the extent that Palestinians want Israel and Jews to die. You are a complete enabler of the Israeli destruction, a destruction that we hoped had died under the tyranny of the Nazi regime. But, clearly, it’s alive.
Ignorance is no excuse, Ken, to the reality of the hatred that exists that Palestinians feel for Israel. They don’t want a two-state solution, and at this point Israel is not looking for one. They are going to destroy those who oppose their existence.
